Children & Family Ministry
Education classes for children age 3 through Grade 6 are offered each Sunday during the 10:30 worship service with teachers and children dismissed from worship after the Prayer of the Day. The curricula for children age 3 through Grade 4 focuses on the well-known Bible people and events while adolescents in the 5th & 6th Grade class focus one of the lessons read in worship from the Revised Common Lectionary. This provides our children with a foundation of the biblical stories as well as connect the message parents hear in worship with the lesson for the day and prepare older children to regularly participate in worship during confirmation and beyond.
Vacation Bible School
Held in July and is an opportunity for children age 4 through grade 5 to encounter God’s love in Christ through engaging worship, lessons, crafts, music, and games. There is a different theme each year.
