On Sunday, October 14 at 4 pm, the ChildrenSong of New Jersey will perform Fall Into Song at the LCOS. This inaugural program for the 2018-19 season of Music at Our Savior will feature the sweet sounds of youth singing together on a crisp autumn afternoon. The program will be filled with spirituals, folk songs from around the world, and a preview of Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols.
ChildrenSong of New Jersey is a highly acclaimed choral music education and performance program based in Haddonfield. Established in 2000 by Director Polly Murray, the program serves children in three choirs between the ages of 8 and 18 from Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties. The organization’s mission is to provide quality music instruction with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance. The Choir endeavors to enrich the lives of children from all religious, racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. A special effort is made to serve children who have limited opportunities for such experiences due to the circumstances of their schooling. Need-based scholarships are available.
Celebrate with us with inspiring choral music and join us at the post-concert reception.
