Next Meeting: 11/12

On October 22nd we had our first official Oasis meeting with Jaime. There were 5 youth that attended, our next meeting will be November 12th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We will be playing games and getting to know each other better. I hope to see more senior high youth attend and please bring a friend! There will be snacks at the meeting! I can’t wait to see you there!


Among the Wolves Retreat 11/17-19

November 17-19, Jaime Frazier will be taking Junior High students to Among the Wolves Retreat. If you are in 6th-8th grade and are interested in attending, please contact Jaime before November 5th. The cost of this retreat is $140.00 per child, which is due to Jaime on the 5th. The retreat will be held at Fairview Lake Camp in Stillwater,NJ. You can contact Jaime.


Drop and Shop Childcare 12/3

It is time to start thinking about Christmas shopping, so the Youth will be hosting their Annual Drop and Shop Childcare Event. This will take place on December 3rd from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. It is open to children through 6th grade. We will be watching Christmas movies and creating Christmas crafts. If you have any questions please contact Jaime Frazier.


 

Jr & Sr High Youth & Congregation Deck the Halls Dec 3 at Noon

Help the junior and senior high youth and parents prepare our sanctuary for Christmas On Sunday, December 3 shortly after the conclusion of the 10:30 worship. The Oasis Youth Group, along with any other parishioners and friends, are invited to assist the Worship and Music Committee in decorating the sanctuary and narthex for Christmas.

Lunch will be offered and the three large artificial pine trees will be put up, strung with lights, and decorated with the handmade Crismons immediately following the meal. Help get our church ready for the Children’s Christmas Pageant on Dec 10, Lessons and Carols service on Dec 17 as well as Christmas Eve worship services. Contact the church office if you plan to attend. Homemade Christmas cookies are always a great treat to share if you would like to bring some.
