Join the discussion of the Book of Hebrews on either Monday nights from 7:30-9:00pm or Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00am by Zoom this May and June as participants discover how this “sermon” of sorts has everyday life applications in our journey of faith. Hebrews often quotes and interprets Old Testament passages as “oracles of God” and through them God speaks to present concerns in the community of faith. Hebrews often compares the new activity of God with God’s dealings “long ago” with Israel, and by doing this repeatedly makes the point that what was good has been made even “better,” because it has been made perfect in Christ.
