Our Savior is blessed with vibrant young people, and this June we joyfully celebrate our graduating seniors and look forward to exciting summer opportunities for children and youth. From a special blessing service for graduates to enriching experiences at Vacation Bible Camp, Crossroads Camp, and our Youth Mission Trip, we are committed to nurturing the faith and growth of the next generation.


Congratulations to Our Graduating High School Seniors!

Graduating Senior Blessing and Afghan Rite on June 22 @ 9:30 Worship

Graduating high school seniors from Our Savior will be able to participate in the Graduate Blessing Service that includes the presentation of an afghan with their confirmation verse and initials embroidered on it that is presented by their parents prior to parents blessing their child followed by their child blessing them. We look forward to celebrating this final Stepping Into Adulthood Faith Stepping Stone with our graduating seniors. We wish the best and bless the following graduating seniors participating in this final blessing rite as well as those who were unable to do so.

Crossroads Summer Camp Scholarships

If your child is interested in attending Crossroads Camp this summer or if you want information about Family Camp, Youth Camp, or High School Camp opportunities, please reach out to Sabrina: smgvasta@gmail.com. Camp runs all summer long, but LCOS is be emphasizing July 13-19 for children who completed grades 2-8 because Pastor Wayne will be the chaplain that week!


Vacation Bible Camp – Road Trip: Go with God!

Registration for Vacation Bible Camp is now open. You can register on our website (under the Family tab) or via a paper copy in the narthex.

  • Theme: Road Trip: Go with God
  • Dates: July 21 – 25, 2025
  • Time: 9:00 am – 12:00pm
  • Ages: Open to all children (members and friends) ages 4 – 5th grade.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with crafts, snacks, games, and to be group leaders. Confirmation and high school youth are especially encouraged to volunteer! But we do need adult leaders, as well. Please email Sabrina for more information: smgvasta@gmail.com.


Youth Mission Trip

We are planning our Mission Trip.

  • Dates: August 2nd-9th, 2025.
  • Any adults and teens who are interested in working with us for Habitat for Humanity please email Jess Arnold: jessica.arnold.pianist@gmail.com
  • This is a great volunteer opportunity for students to put on their college applications but also as Lutherans we strive to help others and serve as Jesus did for us.
