Faith, Fun, and Service: Exciting Opportunities for Families and Youth This Spring and Summer!
From First Communion celebrations and Vacation Bible Camp to mission trips and summer camps, there’s something for everyone to grow in faith, serve others, and make lasting memories. Join us in making this season unforgettable!

First Communion
Please pray for the five youth who are taking classes to learn about the sacrament of Holy Communion and join the entire congregation in welcoming all of our First Communion participants on April 6th, during the 9:30 service.

Vacation Bible Camp
Registration for Vacation Bible Camp will open on April 1. The theme this year is Road Trip: On the Go with God. Vacation Bible Camp will take place June 21–25 from 9:00 am–12:00 pm and is open to all children (members and friends) ages 4–5th grade. We are also looking for volunteers to help with crafts, snacks, games, and to be group leaders. Confirmation and high school youth are especially encouraged to volunteer! But we do need adult leaders, as well. Please email Sabrina for more information: smgvasta@gmail.com.

Crossroads Camp and Retreat Center
If your child is interested in attending Crossroads Camp this summer or if you want information about Family Camp, Youth Camp, or High School Camp opportunities, please reach out to Sabrina: smgvasta@gmail.com. Camp runs all summer long, but LCOS is be emphasizing July 13-19 for children who completed grades 2-8 because Pastor Wayne will be the chaplain that week!

Pull For the House Update
This month’s Ronald McDonald house fundraiser has been off to a great start!
Thank you for your contributions!

Youth Mission Trip
Also, in Youth Ministry news we are starting to plan our Mission Trip, the dates are August 2nd-9th. Anyone adults and teens who are interested in working with us for Habitat for Humanity please email Jess Arnold.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for students to put on their college applications but also as Lutherans we strive to help others and serve as Jesus did for us.
Happy April!
