It’s hard to believe a year has gone by since Vicar Tom Natalini began his internship at Our Savior and Bridge of Peace Community Church, but on November 13 he will celebrate his ministry with the congregation at The Bridge and the next week at Our Savior. A farewell reception is planned in the Parish Hall between the 8:00 and 9:30 services where Vicar Tom will be honored as well as presented with some gifts from the congregation from donations received for the occasion. Vicar Tom has appreciated his time at Our Savior and all he has learned about the realities of leading parish ministry at both Our Savior and The Bridge. His experience has been unique given our congregations have different styles of ministry be it from leading worship to teaching children in confirmation and Vacation Bible Camp as well as the adult Bible Discussion Group or Bible Study. Vicar Tom has been recommended and approved to be trained as a mission developer for his first call and he looks forward to using the experiences he had in both congregations to shape his ministry leadership in his first call. If you wish to contribute toward Vicar Tom’s farewell gift, please send your donation to the church office with checks made payable to “LCOS” with “Vicar’s Gift” written in the Memo line. Then join the congregation in celebrating his ministry with us and say farewell at a reception held in the Parish Hall beginning at 9:00 with cake and coffee.
