Mark your calendar now and plan to march with LCOS in the fifth annual Haddon Township Pride Parade on Thursday, June 5, at 6:00 PM (rain date: Saturday, June 7, location to be determined). The parade is presented by the Haddon Township Equity Initiative. LCOS has marched in every parade. In fact, we were the first church to do so! All ages are welcome to march with us.
Last year’s parade attracted over 7,500 observers and 3,000 participants in 128 groups, making it one of the largest and most meaningful celebrations in our area. The theme for this year’s parade is Choose Joy. Parade organizers note, “In a time when LGBTQIA+ rights remain under attack, choosing joy is an act of resistance. It is a refusal to be silenced. A commitment to building spaces where all people can live, love, and express themselves freely. This year, we gather once again to honor our resilience, amplify our voices, and remind the world that joy is our power, our protest, and our future.”
