Sunday School Registration
Registration for Sunday School is open for all children from 4 years through 5th grade! The curriculum for Sunday School is very hands-on with themes about all of the great Bible stories, both Old and New Testament. Sunday School will begin on September 8 at 9:30am. Please register early. We would love to have as many youth registered before Rally Sunday as possible to help with planning. You can register on the website or via paper copies of the registration form at church.
Rally Sunday
Rally Sunday marks the beginning of the new church calendar year. We will celebrate Rally Sunday on September 8th with a blessing of Sunday School teachers, honoring our new four-year-old Sunday School children with prayer cubes, having our first day of Sunday School, and most importantly… Mister Softee will be handing out treats to everyone after the 9:30 service! Please join us in pastor’s driveway.
Faith Stepping Stone: Bibles for 3rd Graders
Third graders and their parents are invited to attend the 60-minute Faith Stepping Stone class “Stepping into God’s Stories” on Sunday, October 13 at 10:45 following worship. The focus of the class is on the importance of studying God’s word of the Bible in a disciple’s daily life. Parents and children will highlight key passages in each book of the new Spark Bible (NRSV) the children will be receiving each night using the FAITH5 model for Family Home Huddles. Children who participate in the class will receive a blessing on Reformation Sunday, October 27, at the 9:30 worship service.
