On November 19, 2023, the congregation of St. David’s Lutheran Church in northeast Philadelphia on Academy Road called former Our Savior vicar Tom Natalini to be their pastor. Additionally, Vicar Tom, soon to be Pastor Tom, will also be starting a Mindfulness Plus mission congregation alongside of the existing congregation of St. Davids. His call came almost a year since he left Our Savior as an intern and we wish him well in his first call as pastor.
Tom’s Ordination of Minister of Word and Sacrament will be held in his home congregation of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church located at 2725 Egypt Road in Norristown, PA 19403 on February 24 at 11:00. Pastor Wayne is planning to attend and invites the congregation, especially those who served on his Vicar Support Group, to join him in celebrating Tom’s ordination as well as his call to St. David’s Lutheran Church, a mere half hour away over the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge.
